ABOUT MOC -
YOUR PORTAL FOR ORAL HISTORY

The MOC project began in 2022 in response to increasing global conflicts, highlighting the critical role of Oral History in preserving personal narratives. These stories offer valuable insights into resilience and adaptation, ensuring that firsthand experiences continue to inform and inspire future generations.

Our Vision

Our vision is to create a world where personal stories are cherished as valuable historical resources that foster empathy and understanding across cultures and generations. We strive to bridge the gap between past and present, enabling people to connect with history on a personal level through the voices of those who lived it and live.

Our Mission

Our mission is to collect, document, and share the personal narratives of individuals impacted by historical events, with a focus on themes of migration, adaptation, and resilience. By providing a platform for these voices, we aim to educate, inspire, and empower individuals to engage with history in a meaningful way.

Our Process

Our process involves conducting in-depth interviews with individuals who have lived through significant historical events. We carefully record and archive these stories, ensuring they are accessible to a broad audience. Each narrative is treated with the utmost respect and sensitivity, reflecting the dignity and unique perspectives of our storytellers.
