Vladlena Mogdalova was born in the northern city of Nizhnevartovsk, the administrative center of the Nizhnevartovsk district in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug – Yugra, where winter temperatures can drop to -30 degrees. In this harsh but uniquely beautiful region, she spent her first twenty years, marked by artistic development and the search for herself in various fields of art.
From an early age, Vladlena showed an interest in movement and harmony, dedicating herself to rhythmic gymnastics and achieving significant success in this art form. Later, her pursuit of self-expression led her to a ballet school, where she worked on grace and body control for four years. At the same time, she learned to play the piano and further developed her musical skills.
At the age of 14, inspired by new experiences, Vladlena joined a popular dance school resembling the well-known TODEZ style. Unfortunately, she had to give up sports due to an injury, which posed a challenge to her ambitious personality.
Growing up in a family with an average income – her mother was a saleswoman, and her father was a courageous person with a special calling, dedicated to the recovery of the remains of fallen soldiers of World War II – Vladlena always aspired for more. She grew up with a firm will to be independent and determined. At the age of 16, she demonstrated her leadership qualities when she became a cheerleader for the volleyball team and taught children stretching.
College marked a new chapter in her life, where Vladlena worked as a sports teacher with children. However, the prospect of a teaching career did not fulfill her ambitions, and she constantly sought new horizons.
Vladlena decided to go her own way, which was supported by her parents. While attending college, she learned the profession of a nail designer and dedicated herself to this craft for about seven years before opening her own beauty salon. Feeling that she could no longer find new opportunities in her hometown, Vladlena decided to move to Krasnodar to pursue her passion for the beauty industry.
In Krasnodar, she found inspiration that helped her develop personally. Tired of the long-term work as a nail designer, Vladlena began to develop an interest in music and attended a DJ school, where she learned to work with CDs and vinyl, deepening her musical knowledge. During the day, she worked as a nail designer, and at night as a DJ, quickly gaining popularity through her unique musical taste.
It was therefore no surprise that after a year and a half, she received an offer from the Moscow company SOHO FAMILY to play in Dubai under contract, where venues like Secret Room and Lucky Fish were looking for talented DJs. In the summer of 2022, Vladlena moved to Dubai with a three-month trial contract. This contract was just the beginning of a successful journey – she was asked to stay and extend the contract.
After eight months and four-hour DJ sets, Vladlena decided she wanted more and switched to freelancing. She managed to become a resident DJ in several well-known clubs, including SOHO GARDEN, SURF CLUB, and ICON. Tours through Egypt, Jordan, Oman, Bahrain, and Russia further expanded her horizons.
Currently, Vladlena is actively involved in producing and writing her own tracks, with the goal of taking her DJ career to the next level, leaving her mark on the music industry, and inspiring others to follow their own path.
The story of Vladlena Mogdalova is one of courage, creativity, and perseverance, encouraging many to follow their dreams and not be afraid of change.
