Ivan Zaretsky was born in 1996 in Minsk, the capital of Belarus. From an early age, he attended various schools, and his parents, noticing his eagerness for new knowledge and experiences, decided to give him the opportunity to study abroad. In the 9th grade, Ivan enrolled in a Polish international high school through a distance learning program, allowing him to live periodically in both Poland and Belarus.
After completing the 10th grade, Ivan returned to Minsk to finish his secondary education. In 2014, he enrolled at the Belarusian State University of Physical Culture (BSUPC), primarily due to the low tuition costs. During his second year, eager to start earning money, traveling, and exploring life, he switched to a distance learning format. However, he soon realized that Belarus offered limited prospects and that a BSUPC degree would not provide the opportunities he desired. This led him to drop out of university and search for new paths for growth.
In 2016, Ivan got married. The following year, in 2017, he signed a contract with a Polish agency, opening new horizons for him. Over the next few years, he and his wife discussed the possibility of moving to Poland. By the end of 2018, after much deliberation, they began selling their belongings and preparing for a move, which finally took place in early 2019.
Moving to Warsaw was a significant milestone in Ivan’s life. He started exploring work and development opportunities and soon began receiving offers from modeling agencies. His participation in Belarus Fashion Week led to numerous new opportunities, including attention from the prestigious magazine Vogue. Before long, Ivan started working with renowned brands such as Adidas, Puma, Pepsi, Avon, and Wrangler, among others. He even became the lead model in a BMW ad campaign for their new M4 Convertible.
Currently, Ivan continues to pursue his dreams and explore his potential. He aims to further his career in modeling while delving into opportunities in the IT field. Ivan values the ability to combine work with travel and new experiences, as he builds his career and strengthens his family life in a new country. His story is an inspiring example of the importance of following your dreams, embracing change, and finding your place in the world.
